Overview:
Ideabaaz is an entrepreneurship-focused TV show aired on ZEE TV, designed to spotlight innovative founders and startup talent-similar in spirit to Shark Tank. The show features two participation formats:
Ideabaaz Dangal – Idea-stage innovators
Ideabaaz – Growth-stage startups pitching to investors
Everestwalk Groups was entrusted as the sole technology partner to design and develop the Ideabaaz Dangal digital platform, enabling nationwide participation, submissions, profile creation, and payments.
The Challenge:
Like many fast-moving productions, we faced two common but critical client-side pressures:
Compressed Timeline – Development deadlines were fixed to the show’s shooting schedule.
Evolving Requirements – Product details continued to change while development was ongoing.
Some of the major shifts included:
UI/UX Updates Post-Development
Landing page design revisions arrived after code completion, requiring rapid iteration.
Payment Flow Re-Engineering
The payment process was repositioned multiple times:
From post-idea submission → between onboarding steps → then finally placed upfront.
Third-Party Integrations in Flux
API and service provider changes occurred even after successful integration and testing.
The deadline? Still the same — immovable.
The Critical Hurdle:
We went live for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with Razorpay integrated. However:
Razorpay KYC was unexpectedly rejected in production, blocking real user payments.
With the show launch approaching and nationwide submissions at stake – downtime was not an option.
Our Response:
Our engineering and product team executed an overnight contingency deployment:
– Integrated an alternate payment gateway
– Migrated flow and APIs with zero data loss
– Enabled seamless real-time transactions
– Prevented user disruption and brand risk
This swift crisis recovery ensured full operational continuity and protected the show’s submission timeline.

Successful launch of Ideabaaz Dangal digital platform across India.
